Welcome to Our Post
We invite you to join us in fellowship—whether at one of our community events or as a guest in our Canteen. We also welcome you to consider becoming a VFW or Auxiliary member.
Georgetown, South Carolina’s third-oldest city, has a proud and enduring legacy of military service. While our local Veteran population has steadily declined since 2010, the needs of our Veterans and our community remain as great as ever.
Our mission is to foster camaraderie among U.S. Veterans of overseas conflicts, local Veterans, current Service Members, and the broader Georgetown community. We proudly advocate for Veterans and work to empower those we serve.
We’re always looking for ways to connect and engage. One of our new initiatives is Trivia Night, held every other Thursday—an opportunity for fun, fellowship, and friendly competition open to all.
If you or someone you know is a Veteran in need, please reach out—we’re here to help. If you’re a Veteran or a relative of one, we encourage you to join us. There are many ways to qualify for VFW or Auxiliary membership, so stop by and speak with us—we’d be honored to welcome you.
